Outlook Express is an e-mail application
included with Internet Explorer 5 and 6. When you installed Internet
Explorer 5 or 6, it may have taken your current e-mail settings
to be used for Outlook Express. Therefore, Outlook Express may already
be configured with your Online Zenda e-mail configuration! If it
isn't, or if you would like to add an e-mail address to Outlook
Express, follow the procedure below. You can configure Outlook Express
to check as many e-mail addresses as you like.
- Start Outlook Express.
- Choose Accounts
from the Tools menu. The Internet Accounts
window will open.
- Click the Mail
tab. This will show you any e-mail accounts that are currently
set up in Outlook Express.
- Click the Add
button. A menu will pop up: choose Mail.

- The Internet Connection
wizard will appear to guide you through a series of configuration
stepsfor the e-mail address you want to add.
- The Your Name
screen will appear.
- Enter your name as you
want it to appear in e-mails: John Smith. Click Next.

- The Internet E-mail
Address screen will appear.
- Enter your Online Zenda
e-mail address, emailname@onlinezenda.net. Click Next.

- The E-Mail Server Names
screen will appear.
- Enter the following information:

mail.onlinezenda.net |
| Outgoing mail (SMTP)
server |
mail.onlinezenda.net |
Click Next.

- The Internet Mail Logon
screen will appear.
- Click the first log on
using radio button and enter the following information:

account name |
emailname (your
onlinezenda user name) |
| Password |
password(your
onlinezenda password) |
Click Next.

- The Congratualtions
window will appear.
- Click Finish to complete
the account setup.

 
Double-click the Microsoft Outlook
icon to run Microsoft Outlook. Click Tools then Services...

A Services window will appear with
information services that are setup for your Microsoft Outlook.

Microsoft Outlook uses Internet
Mail or Internet Email for email so look for it under the following
information services are set up in this profile.
If you do not have the following
service setup click Add... and a list of services will appear with
Internet Mail or Internet Email as one of the services.

Click on Internet Mail or Internet
Email to hilight it then click OK. You will then return to the Services
window and Internet Mail or Internet Email will be installed as
a service.
Click on Internet Mail or Internet
Email to hilight it then click Properties... to bring up your email
configurations.

For Full Name enter your full name
as you would like it to appear in the From field of your email messages,
for E-mail address enter your OnLineZenda email address (emailname@onlinezenda.net
, for Internet Mail server enter mail.onlinezenda.net, for Account
name enter your OnLineZenda emailname, and for Password enter your
OnLineZenda password. Next click the Connection tab.

Connect using the modem should be
dotted and OnLineZenda/My Connection should be chosen under Dial
using the following connection.
Click OK for Internet Mail then
OK again for Services.... You are now ready to use Microsoft Outlook
to send and recieve email. To recieve email click Tools then Check
for New mail.
